Tranquility Garden at Fairfield Medical Center

In cooperation with the Fairfield Medical Center Foundation Fairfield County Master Gardener Volunteers Brian Myers and his mother, Michele volunteer their hours at the Tranquility Garden which is located on the 2nd floor of the Fairfield Medical Center Complex.  Weekly care of the indoor tropical plantings is given by Brian by watering, removing leaves and cleaning the plant and the garden area.   During the growing season the outdoor garden spaces are planted with spring and summer annuals for all visitors to the Medical Center to enjoy.

Seasonal plant changes are one the highlights of this garden and that makes this indoor garden a joy to visit. On average, over 700 hours are donated  yearly to this project by Brian and his mother.
