Join us for an evening focused on exploring the future of drone use in agriculture, and also grain marketing at this time when the markets aren't what we'd like them to be. Supper will be provided compliments of Interstate Commodities of Thurston.

JD Equipment and Precision Drone now offer customers the Precision Vision™ Crop Health Imaging system that creates composite video showing the health of your crops and other timely aspects of a growing crop. Juan Cantu of JD will join us to run their Precision Drone through it's paces and answer questions regarding the use of UAV technology for crop scouting.

After supper, Clayton Charles, Export Trader at Interstate Commodities Inc., will join us to offer his insight into crop production and market prospects for the 2015 crop. Charles has traveled extensively throughout the midwest and has seen the good, the bad and the ugly of corn and soybeans from Ohio to Iowa. Jenn Deck, commodities risk manager for Interstate, will also be on hand to discuss market risk management strategies.

Reservations are requested by filling out the on-line form linked here, or by calling 740-652-7260.

Bring your lawn chair . . . we'll be in Cupp's farm shop after we watch the Precision Drone do it's scouting exercise!
