Farmers who are applyng restricted-use pesticides need to be licensed applicators. Our website http://pested.osu.edu is designed to help answer questions about the licensing process, provide the necessary study materials, and guide you through the licensing and re-certification process. While the test is given every Wednesday morning at the Ohio Department of Agriculture office near Reynoldsburg, we have also made arrangements for ODA to come to Fairfield County on March 24 to offer the tests.
On the 24th, personel from the Ohio Department of Agriculture will be present in the Fairfield County Ag Center in order to offer both Private and Commercial Pesticide Applicator testing. An optional study session offered by OSU Extension will begin at 11:30 a.m. ODA will be prepared to begin the testing promptly at 1 p.m.
