Visit the OSU Extension Master Gardeners at the Lancaster Farmers Market the third Saturday of the month to get answers to your growing queries!  Look for the “Ask a Master Gardener” tent on June 21, July 19, and August 16, 8:30am-12:00pm. The Lancaster Farmers Market is located in the heart of downtown Lancaster, in the city-owned parking lot on West Chestnut Street between Broad Street and Columbus Street.

  4. Fairfield County 4-H Endowment Committee - Legacy Dinner

    The Fairfield County 4-H Youth Development program strives to teach leadership, citizenship and life skills to nearly 1,200 4-H club members each year. While most of these young people participate in the traditional 4-H club experiences, children who are not yet 4-H age can participate in a non-competing, activity based curriculum known as the Cloverbud program. Nearly 1800 additional youth are exposed to 4-H work through our 4-H ChickQuest school enrichment program.

  10. Let's Preserve - Canning Basics

    Are you planning to preserve summer produce? Join us for Basic Canning presented by Shannon Carter, Family and Consumer Sciences Educator and Sandy Bohl, Instructor, with Ohio State University Extension Fairfield County. This program designed for people who want to learn more about basic home food preservation using the water bath and pressure canning methods. Participants will learn how to use water bath and pressure canners to safely preserve the bounty of fresh produce all year long.
