    Have a tree that you pass on a regular basis that you always wonder ‘what is that?’ Own a woodland and want to know exactly what trees you have? Then Name That Tree is the class for you! This one day workshop is designed to give participants in-depth training and practice on identifying trees using leaves and other common characteristics. The class begins indoors with some introductory identification clues and samples that we use to work through a dichotomous key. The afternoon is spent outside practicing! When: Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

    The Fairfield County 4-H Advisory Committee will host a Craft and Vendor Show on Saturday, July 30st from 9:00am to 2:00pm to raise money for the county 4-H program. The show will be held at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds in the Ed Sands Building, 157 E Fair Ave, Lancaster, OH. <<< FREE ADMISSION & PARKING >>> Activities Include: -Over 25 Vendors and Crafters -Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus -Concessions Available by Clearcreek Showmen 4-H Club -Toys for Tots Donation -Wreath Silent Auction

    The Fairfield County 4-H Junior Leaders will be hosting a monthly dine to donate fundraiser to raise funds. July's April’s dine to donate will be a Chipotle fundraiser on Tuesday, July 12th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at 1608 North Memorial Drive, Lancaster. 33% of the event sales will be donated to the 4-H program.

  6. Jun. 23, 2022 6:00pm

    Join OSU Extension-Fairfield County for the return of the Local Foods Farm Tour Series. Our second location will be Keller Market House, 134 S. Columbus St, Lancaster. On Thursday, June 23rd at 6:00 p.m. Keller Market House is a year-round, indoor marketplace that connects the community with farmers, food producers and artisans from Fairfield County and throughout the state of Ohio.
