    You are invited to attend the 2023 Fairfield County 4-H Endowment “Awareness” Breakfast on Sunday, October 8th in the Ed Sands/Farm Bureau Building located on the North Side of the Fairgrounds track.  Breakfast will be served from 8:00 – 11:00 am. There is not a set cost for breakfast, but donations will be accepted to cover the cost of the breakfast and to support the Fairfield County Endowment Board.

    During this event, we will recognize the achievements of 4-H and FFA members including: Junior Fair Queen Finalists, County Livestock Representatives, Outstanding 4-H’ers, 4-H State Fair Clock Trophy Winners, 2023 FFA American Degree Recipients, 2023 FFA State Degree Recipients and State Top 4 FFA Proficiency Award Winners. The evening will end with the selection of the 2024 Fairfield County Fair Queen.

    If you are thinking about investing in trees this Fall make plans to come to the “Open to the Public” Master Gardener Meeting on Thursday, September 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fairfield County Ag Center located at 831 College Avenue, Lancaster.  This meeting is free and open to all who are interested.  Our featured speaker will be ISA Certified Arborist Andrew Freeman.  We will discuss why Fall is a great time for planting.
