Visit the OSU Extension Master Gardeners at the Lancaster Farmers Market the third Saturday of the month to get answers to your growing queries!  Look for the “Ask a Master Gardener” tent on June 21, July 19, and August 16, 8:30am-12:00pm. The Lancaster Farmers Market is located in the heart of downtown Lancaster, in the city-owned parking lot on West Chestnut Street between Broad Street and Columbus Street.

Join us for Basic Canning presented by Shannon Carter, Family and Consumer Sciences Educator and Sandy Bohl, Instructor, with Ohio State University Extension Fairfield County. This program teaches individuals how to preserve fruits and vegetables by removing moisture to extend shelf life. Dehydration allows you to preserve seasonal produce for later consumption. It's one of the oldest and most widespread food preservation techniques.
