Are you planning to preserve summer produce? Join us for Basic Canning presented by Shannon Carter, Family and Consumer Sciences Educator and Sandy Bohl, Instructor, with Ohio State University Extension Fairfield County. This program designed for people who want to learn more about basic home food preservation using the water bath and pressure canning methods. Participants will learn how to use water bath and pressure canners to safely preserve the bounty of fresh produce all year long. Program includes demonstrated techniques, handouts and discussion. There is no cost for attendance, but registration is requested to reserve your space.
