Bats: What You Didn't Learn Watching Batman

Are bats flying rodents? Do they really get stuck in your hair? What about rabies?? Learn what’s true and what’s not about Ohio’s bats at this class.

We will explore the ins and outs of bats’ unique lives, bat house dos and don’ts, and how to manage forests of all sizes for bats.  We will also discuss the status of Ohio's bat populations, the challenges they face, and how researchers study and collect information on bats.

Class Fee: $15 (includes snacks and a packet of take-home information)

Registration at woodlandstewards.osu.edu. Deadline: August 21, 2023.  To view the complete information download the Event Brochure
