Every five years the USDA conducts a Census of Agriculture. As with the general census, data gathered from the census is used by USDA and Congress to develop and fund agricultural programs across this nation. The funding of the Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency and yes, The Ohio State University Extension is dependent upon information gathered every five years.
Project Central allows 4 H’ers to search, learn about, and rate projects. While projects are fresh on their minds, please encourage your 4 H members and volunteers to visit projectcentral.ohio4h.org to share their experiences, good and bad. Just 40% of projects have been rated so far. Can we reach 80%? 100%? The higher we go, the more future 4-H’ers get to learn from their peers’ experiences!
